We build highly precise scientific instruments for use in single-photon-counting and timing/frequency measurements. Applications are in the physical sciences, e.g. quantum computing and cryptography, as well as analysis of network synchronization, to name a few. Among our many happy customers are cutting edge research groups in the academic and industrial sectors. We are a growing company of around 50 employees with a horizontal hierarchy. This enables swift decision-making processes and means your contributions have a direct impact on the direction of our software and, ultimately, our company. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in C++ to join our team. Your role would be to take responsibility for the software aspects of our measurement devices: developing algorithms for high-throughput numerical data processing, interfacing with FPGAs, designing solid software architecture, enabling high-level language bindings and much more.
