Description
DefenseStorm is a cybersecurity startup that helps banks and other financial institutions manage the deluge of security data that they produce. We take all of the security critical information and then alert on what's important, generate reports, and show cool dashboards. We use AngularJS/Angular (upgrade in progress), Typescript, Java 8, C#.NET, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and we're built on AWS. Strong engineering culture - weekly hour 'topic sync' to share knowledge, minimal meetings, flexible hours/wfh, dog-friendly office, happy customers that give good feedback, and interesting problems to solve. Sales have been great in the past year, and we're moving into a new office near the ferry terminal with waterfront views this week! Our interview loop is a 1-hour phone call, followed by ~4 hours in-person - and we've designed it to approximate realistic day-to-day coding and code review (no algorithm riddles).
