Description
NanoVMs is building out safer and faster systems from the ground up. We’re venture backed and have really large customers. We open source as much as we can. We’re looking for more kernel engineers. We’re specifically looking for those that have done kernel work before. The work does not lend itself to 'ramping up' easily. Intel manuals, section 2 of the man pages, 'linux programming interface', and 'linux kernel development' and such should be well thumbed documents/books for you. You don’t need to know it by heart but it should not be unfamiliar and given time you should be able to implement any of it. Also comp. sci fundamentals are a must. We have much more complex data structures than simple trees/queues in our source. SMP, spinlocks, KVM internals, etc. it’s all fair game.
