Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of all areas of the club, including fitness equipment, locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas
- Maintain cleanliness on the immediate exterior of the club
- Stock and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other necessary items for the facility
- Complete daily itemized checklist of cleaning responsibilities as set forth by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager
- Assist with service to members and guests when required
- Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude to all club staff, members, and guests
Requirements
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to lift or move up to 50lb
- Prolonged standing and walking
- Ability to bend, crouch, and reach to perform cleaning tasks

Description
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members, club staff, and guests. Responsibilities include performing daily cleaning and sanitizing of all club areas (fitness equipment, locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas), maintaining cleanliness on the exterior of the club, stocking and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and toiletries, completing itemized cleaning checklists set by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager, assisting members and guests when required, and maintaining a friendly/helpful attitude.
