Description

Under the supervision of the Parks Manager and Foreman and in accordance with the established policies and procedures, the Gardener Grade 3 provides a range of horticulture and landscaping services, which support the Department's objectives of developing and maintaining the parks, open spaces, roundabouts, and the streets, to enhance their physical beauty and greenery for the enjoyment of residents, business and the general public. As well, the Postholder undertakes additional duties, which support the effective operation of the Parks Department.Qualifications: Bermuda Secondary School Certificate or equivalent; A minimum of 2 years' experience is required; Proficient knowledge of the materials, tools, herbicides, pesticides, and equipment utilized in parks maintenance and landscaping; Ability to interact with internal and external customers in a courteous and polite manner; Computer literacy with the basic skills required.Closing date June 18th, 2026.
