Description

Space Debris Mapping Services to Enable the LEO Economy Services. We're monitoring satellites and space debris using our worldwide network of ground-based, phased-array radars to provide data needed for safely navigating space. We're looking to fill two roles: Backend Engineer and Visualizations Engineer. Our backend engineers are responsible for adding new data services and products to our data platform and api. This runs the spectrum from basic CRUD features to implementing astrophysics simulations and machine learning. The majority of our backend stack is in Python, with some C++. We're looking for someone to help us visualize mountains of data we have about objects in space. This would include different visualizations and simulations of orbital trajectories of objects, and user interfaces to explore this data. We're targeting the web (Javascript + three.js/webgl) for this role, though experience with other rendering technologies is acceptable (webgl/opengl/directx/vulcan, etc.). Requirements: Minimum of 3+ years experience beyond intern level.
