Description
Senior DevOps Engineer role (remote or onsite in Sunnyvale, CA). Responsibilities include total ownership of Syllable infrastructure and operations-critical software; formalizing infrastructure with CloudFormation or similar; building and formalizing CI/CD and deployment processes for efficiency, security, and regulatory compliance; ensuring high availability of dockerized services on AWS ECS; implementing robust error reporting and logging; building and owning a common framework for service concerns (logging, DB setup, error handling, config management); managing internal user roles with least-privilege and auditing; leading efforts to maintain HIPAA regulatory compliance; and building automation and tooling. Requirements: 3+ years of DevOps engineering experience (or as a major, continuous part of a software engineering role) and a passion for building infrastructure, tooling, and formalized development processes.
