Role details

Responsibilities

  • Own the embedded (no_std) Rust firmware
  • Work directly with the CTO on implementation through certification
  • Own and grow the embedded Rust firmware at the heart of the BMS
  • Set the engineering practices that keep it trustworthy: testing, CI/CD, HiL, coverage, and end-to-end requirements traceability
  • Debug and trace on real hardware across ARM and RISC-V targets
  • Work with the founder on architecture decisions, implementation and verification

Description

We're building a software-defined Battery Management System (BMS) platform and an instant quote configuration frontend. Based in Hamburg. You'd be our first engineering hire, owning the embedded (no_std) Rust firmware and working directly with the CTO (me) on implementation through certification. Looking for at least 1+ yr no_std production Rust, a testing/quality mindset, and CI/CD + HiL + coverage as everyday tools.
