Pingthings is a startup built around a custom high performance time series database, focusing on improving the way that the energy industry monitors the grid. We have won grants from the Department of Energy, ARPA-E, and the National Science Foundation. If you have ever wanted to join a startup whose management is primarily technical and who has market traction before the Series A, this is that opportunity. We are looking for a senior systems engineer to work on our time series database and analytics platform, both distributed systems designed for horizontal scalability and performance. Our ideal person would have strong fundamentals in creating Go microservices using GRPC in a kubernetes environment. Your role would primarily focus on helping us extend our platform by creating new features and tools.
