Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong “Safety First” culture and follow safe work practices
- Conduct Risk Assessments, Aspect Impact Studies (Environmental), and HIRA for health, safety, and environmental management
- Identify, evaluate, and report risks and hazards and record them in the ERP system
- Conduct in-process and final inspections for production parts to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Perform incoming inspection and raw material inspection for supplier quality and material conformance
- Execute First Article Inspection (FAI) and New Product Development (NPD) inspections for part validation, setting, and prove-out activities
- Participate in daily non-conformance meetings and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Update and maintain rejection, rework, and AUC in the NC portal
- Ensure availability of gauges and measuring instruments
- Monitor and maintain calibration of measuring and testing equipment in compliance with NABL requirements and ensure documentation
- Drive continual improvement initiatives using Lean Principles
- Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues in the Machine Shop and at supplier locations
- Perform mechanical testing on UTM and Torque Test machine
- Ensure compliance with documentation processes aligned to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018
- Enforce Business Code of Practice across quality and operational activities
- Conduct supplier audits and process audits
- Perform process assurance audits to ensure effectiveness across product lines
Requirements
- Diploma/B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Quality function in Production facility (Automobile or Engineering Industry)
- Knowledge of handling measuring instruments
- Knowledge in CMM operation
- Knowledge in CNC turning and conventional machines (added advantages)
- Knowledge of quality audit procedures and ISO 9001:2015
- Basic knowledge of Quality tools FMEA, MSA, and PPAP
- Basic knowledge of Metallurgy
- Basic knowledge of different grades of raw material
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using structured problem-solving techniques
- GD&T knowledge and ability to interpret/apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing standards
- Experience evaluating supplier performance and ensuring compliance with quality standards

Job Title - Jr. Engineer - Quality (RGU) JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Safety: Maintain a strong “Safety First” culture, ensuring safe work practices are always followed. Quality Control: Conduct in-process and final inspections for production parts to ensure compliance with specified quality standards. Perform incoming inspection and raw material inspection to verify supplier quality and material conformance. Execute First Article Inspection (FAI) and New Product Development (NPD) inspections for part validation, setting, and prove-out activities. Participate in daily non-conformance meetings, identify root causes, and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for continuous improvement. Knowledge: Through Knowledge of handling measuring Instruments. Knowledge in CMM Operation, CNC turning and conventional machines will have added advantages.
