Role details

  • Dispense accurate prescriptions and fit spectacles, contact lenses and other optical aids.
  • Perform refraction and diagnosis to meet customers needs.
  • Advise patients on lens types, frames and styling; contact lens fitting and care; low vision aids; adjustments and repairs to spectacles.
  • Manage inventory of lenses and optical product range; provide inputs on orders.
  • Provide regularly necessary qualitative and quantitative reports to management on sales and stock and customer feedback.
  • Ensure quality of eye measurements.
  • Regularly audit fitments and dispensing techniques of opticians and maintain reports.
  • Serve as point of escalation for opticians for cases requiring higher consultation.
  • Welcome the customer appropriately.
  • Ensure delivery is on time and after sales service is prompt.
  • Ensure back-end processes happen as per schedule.
  • Escalate any unsorted issues/disputes to SM if required.
  • Education: D. Optom / B Optom / M Optom.
  • Experience required: 0-6 Yrs.
  • Welcome the customer appropriately.
  • Talk about Vision Express—products and services.
  • Tell customer about Vx—6 step Eye test for free of cost.
  • Advise customers on what suits and benefits them based on their need.
  • Ensure delivery is on time and after sales service is prompt.
  • Ensure back-end processes happen as per schedule.
  • Escalate unsorted issues/disputes to SM if required.
