Role details
Responsibilities
- Front UniUpp’s videos across every platform they’re on
- Come up with fresh content ideas each week drawn from real student questions, worries and trends
- Write your own hooks, scripts and captions
- Film across formats: talking-head, POV, UGC-style, FAQ, student advice, and behind-the-scenes
- Deliver strong raw footage to the editing team, then reshoot/refine once feedback comes back
- Work alongside marketing, advisors and admissions to learn what students ask and where they get stuck
- Watch social trends and reshape them for a student-advice audience
- Spot what’s working and lean into it with support on the data and strategy

Social Media Content Creator (on-camera) for UniUpp. Fully remote (work from home). Target 25 scripts (45 seconds each) per month. Presenter across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube/YouTube Shorts and Facebook; create accurate, student-first short educational/advice videos and work with marketing/editorial team on scripts, hooks, filming formats, editing feedback, and performance insights. Role includes writing scripts/captions and reshooting after feedback. Part-time at £800 per month with quarterly KPI-based performance bonuses; opportunity to build a portfolio and grow from Social Media Creator to Senior Social Media Creator → Content Lead.
