Responsibilities
- Provide childcare for on-call nanny assignments in families’ homes
- Play, read, and engage children in age-appropriate activities, games, and arts and crafts
- Assist with school homework (up to 5th-grade Math and English assignments)
- Communicate with parents and coworkers
- Help families with childcare schedules using My Jovie App
- Take on last minute shifts and maintain on-time arrival for assignments
Requirements
- Enjoy children and be engaging, creative, and child-focused
- Value communication with parents and coworkers
- Available at least three days per week to work between 7am - 7pm
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license for transportation
- Ability to assist with school homework (up to 5th-grade Math and English)
- At least 1 year of day-to-day childcare experience with children ages infant and up
- Provide 3 references (2 related to working with children, paid or unpaid; 1 character reference)
- At least 18 years of age or older
