Description
My team is responsible for serving product information and critical purchasing data, such as availability and price to amazon.com at low latency and high throughput. Our services get called from hundreds of internal clients such as Amazon Go, Alexa, Kindle, Fresh, Treasure Truck with billions of requests per day and these requests are handled within a few milliseconds on average. We precompute the product data by aggregating large datasets that change millions of times per minute. We're currently looking for backend software engineers who are interested in working on large scale distributed systems and micro services. It's a great opportunity to deeply understand and drive real changes to amazon.com backend architecture and improve shopping experience for amazon.com customers.
