Description
Yahoo Sports is looking for a self motivated, hands-on software engineer who loves Sports. The engineer will be responsible for developing web services and other backend systems that will power Yahoo Sports and many parts of the Verizon Media network. Working in Yahoo Sports is an adventure in delivering first class experiences across multiple devices at a scale you won’t find anywhere else on the planet. Our continuous integration platform allows us to automatically test and release code several times a day. It’s fun finishing a feature and seeing it live with millions of users an hour later. There are opportunities to work on these teams: 1. Fantasy backend (PHP, perl, Java) 2. Fantasy drafts backend (Java) 3. Next generation sports feed processing backend (Java) 4. Internships for dev ops, fantasy android app, and daily fantasy backend
