We are building Dark: a combination of a programming language, structured editor, and infrastructure compiler to remove accidental complexity from building backend services. Early-stage company (trying it out with first users), $3.5m funding, targeting existing developers. Mission: allowing a billion people to code. Values: Impactful, Decisive, Collaborative, Introspective. Stack includes OCaml and Kubernetes. Team includes CEO (former VP Product at Lola Travel) and CTO (founder/CEO of CircleCI). Interview process for infra engineer: 1hr call/in-person with CEO, 1hr chat with CTO, customized after that, likely a 1 day paid onsite.
