Shard is a scrappy, boutique web development agency based out of Oregon – we build focused, market-ready prototypes for venture-backed startups and Fortune 100 companies (JPMorgan Chase, MetLife, etc.) alike. At Shard, we prioritize projects that interest us. We've built sophisticated automation engines for assessing financial risk, designed expansive marketplaces that have gone viral, and even architected systems used to edit the human genome through CRISPR. We are hiring Senior- and Mid-Level Software Developers for full-stack development projects. Tech preference isn't important for the role, but our projects commonly utilize Python/NodeJS/.NET Core on the backend, React on the frontend, and Docker + AWS + Terraform for infrastructure.
