Responsibilities
- Provide consistent high quality general and deep cleans to the Sydney and NSW Customer Experience Centres and Stabling Yards
- Ensure Sydney Trains delivers on its strategic objective of improving customer satisfaction and levels of cleanliness
- Conduct cleaning of trains back at the Maintenance Yards
- Work in locations across the Newcastle, Hamilton, Bordmeadow and Gosford region

Description
Sydney Trains Full Time and Part Time Train Cleaning Attendant role (Shiftwork, Permanent) for the Newcastle region. Provide consistent high quality general and deep cleans to the Sydney and NSW Customer Experience Centres and Stabling Yards. Work across locations in and across the Newcastle, Hamilton, Bordmeadow and Gosford region. Fleet Customer Experience Cleaning Attendants are located at 39 locations; team includes Maintenance & Stabling Yard Cleaners. Roles are full-time 24-hour rotating rosters (primarily night work) and positions are also available part-time. Successful applicants undergo a paid on-the-job induction and training program. Candidates should be self motivated, prioritise high standard cleanliness, provide above-and-beyond customer service, and be safety conscious. Must be able to commit to 24/7 rotating roster including early mornings, late nights, evenings and weekends. For permanent positions in the NSW Public Sector, applicants must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident and 18 years of age. This recruitment campaign fills a limited number of Cleaning Attendant positions; not all candidates will be contacted. A talent pool will be created for future roles.
