Description
Better Futures Multi-Academy Trust is seeking a Full Stack Developer to help take two live products—ARC (a 360-degree leadership platform turning feedback into behavioural change) and Swaya (a student feedback app for iOS and Android)—from promising to powerful. You will take ownership of ARC and Swaya (development, quality, roadmap), work directly with the founders on product direction, inherit and improve a solid Rails and React codebase, manage iOS and Android app updates, solve real UX problems, and ship improvements noticed by real users. We are looking for strong Ruby on Rails production experience, React frontend skills with a genuine care for UI/UX quality, and mobile app experience with iOS and Android via React Native, Flutter, or native. You should think in products (not just tickets), be comfortable with ambiguity, and be UK-based with the right to work without sponsorship. Work is flexible/remote-first with occasional in-person days in the Midlands. The role starts at 0.6 FTE with a clear path to full-time as the products grow. Benefits include public sector pension and holiday entitlement, plus a CPD budget and encouragement to develop your skills.
