Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building/maintaining high-traffic, full-stack systems.
- Expertise in Elixir or an equivalent functional/concurrent stack.
- Strong foundation in observability, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and incident response.
- Clear communication—you can turn complex technical ideas into diagrams and strategy.

Youth Inc. is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Hybrid: Boston/Chicago). We’re a venture-backed e-commerce marketplace and media network for youth and high school sports. We’ve moved from zero to one with real revenue and are now looking for a Senior Engineer to help us scale. Our Stack: Elixir/Phoenix (LiveView), PostgreSQL, Oban, Next.js, Meilisearch, Vercel and Claude Code. What you’ll do: - Lead product/engineering initiatives and own outcomes end-to-end. - Design for scale: handle high transaction volumes and tune relational databases for millions of rows. - Make pragmatic tradeoffs between shipping speed and long-term system health. - Work in a high-trust, AI-assisted environment where you drive the vision.
