Description

Design and build public-facing APIs for the Skydio Autonomy Platform, define and lead technical development of APIs for autonomous drones targeting enterprise and consumer markets. Responsibilities include API design, building and managing substantial software APIs, interfacing with internal engineering teams and external partners, and handling documentation. Requires strong full-stack software understanding, security protocols, performance analysis, cloud compute resource management, and strong analytical skills (vector math, 3D rotations, linear algebra, calculus). Knowledge and experience with robotics systems, specifically UAVs, and passion for flight. Funding: 70M+. Onsite in Redwood City, CA. Visa support mentioned. Full-time.
